Kathy has been one of the hygienists on our fantastic team for many years. She looks forward to coming to work each day because she knows she can provide exceptional care in an office that is technologically advanced and has a group of ladies that genuinely care about each other and the patients.
Kathy’s career spans over 30 years and began at St. Petersburg College. Through numerous hours of continuing education and research within her profession, with a kind and caring demeanor, she will provide you with excellent dental care. She and her husband live in Marietta and have two brilliant kids who have recently completed their college educations and begun careers in the Atlanta area.
Meleah makes your oral health, as well as your comfort, her top priorities. She received her dental hygiene degree from Georgia Perimeter College in Dunwoody, GA, graduating with honors. While in school, she was named a Thomas P. Hinman scholar, an award given to only the top-performing students in the class. She continually strives to discover better ways to treat her patients more effectively and has a strong passion for learning.
Meleah is a Georgia native and resides in Marietta with her husband, Kyle, and their little boy, Logan.
Allison is a Georgia native, born and raised in the small town of Adairsville. Her interest in dentistry began at a young age, and after high school, she attended Savannah Technical College where she received her registered dental hygienist degree and graduated at the top of her class. She was chosen by the dean of her school to receive the Thomas P. Hinman scholarship, an award given to only one or two of the top-performing hygiene students in each graduating class.
Allison continues to grow and learn as a dental hygienist by staying current with the latest information and technology through continuing education. Her main goal is educating patients on the connection between oral health and overall health. She lives in Alpharetta with her husband and two dogs. Her passions include her family, animal rescue, hiking, and travel.
Lead Dental Assistant
Jordan was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Marietta, GA when she was seven years old. She grew up with six siblings. She graduated from Walton High School, attended Georgia Southern University, and received her certificate in dental assisting from The Dental Staff School in Marietta in 2014.
Jordan’s interest in dentistry began after observing one of her family members at work in a local dental office. She instantly felt a connection to the patients and had a desire to be a part of a dental practice where she could feel the same excitement for her work every day. Jordan is always smiling and has a passion for helping our patients and growing in her knowledge of dental assisting as evidenced by the extensive continuing education courses she has taken.
Dental Assistant & Clinical Flow Manager
Luana is a dental assistant and clinical flow manager. Originally from Brazil, Luana moved to Georgia at the age of 11. She attended Pebblebrook High School, a performing arts magnet school. After obtaining a technical specialist certification, she then received a bachelor of science in psychology while taking pre-dental courses and serving as the lead neuroscience lab coordinator at her school. She additionally acquired her dental assisting certification. Luana loves how art and science, two of her passions, are perfectly blended in dentistry.
In 2018, Luana married her best friend and dance partner of 7 years. They currently reside in Marietta.
Brittney was born in Marietta, the youngest of two siblings. Her parents are Canadian. When Brittney was still a toddler, she and her family returned to Canada. After 5 years of enjoying northern life, they decided to move back to the warm state of Georgia and made it their permanent home.
Brittney graduated from Allatoona High School and went on to attend Reinhardt University. She then received her Dental Assistant Certificate from Atlanta Dental School in Kennesaw, completing expanded duties training as well. Brittney is excited about the opportunity to continue her education while working with Dr. Cheek and Dr. Chandler.
During her free time, Brittney enjoys playing tennis, golf, and volleyball and spending time with her two adorable nephews. She and her fiancé, Spencer, are animal lovers who love spoiling her Morkie named “Dude”, who is her shadow.
Jennifer will likely be one of the first team members from the office you will speak with or meet. She will assist with your insurance claims and financial questions, and because of her years of experience in dentistry in both front office duties and as a dental assistant, she can answer almost any question you have about your treatment. Getting to know you personally and treating our patients like family is of utmost importance to Jennifer!
Jennifer is a small-town girl who grew up in Ringgold, Georgia, just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor of social work degree and received a master of social work degree from the University of Tennessee. She worked in dental offices in Texas and Tennessee before finally coming back home to Georgia. She and her husband, Cliff, are parents of three sweet girls!
Kelly strives to make your dental visit pleasant and efficient from the moment you arrive at the front desk until you leave our office. Kelly maintains our schedule and ensures that our patients are scheduled and cared for in a timely manner. She has been in the dental field for over ten years and enjoys working with our family of patients on a daily basis.
Kelly moved to Georgia in 2012 from northern New York and resides in Kennesaw with her husband. They have two adult children and five grandchildren.
Christina is our patient coordinator, answering our phones and helping schedule appointments. Christina grew up in a small town in North Georgia. Her interest in dental care began when her older sister, Allison, who is also an employee here at Cheek Dental, became a hygienist several years ago. Christina has over 10 years of experience working in hospitality. In her free time, she likes to read, go hiking, and spend time with her dogs, Cricket and Oliver.
