Jamie
Practice Administrator
Jamie is our Practice Administrator and wears many hats to keep our practice running smoothly. She grew up in Michigan, enjoying mild summers and loathing the icy winters. Jamie moved to Georgia in 2007 and has decided that she much prefers the weather here.
Jamie is married and has a young son, who is her pride and joy. Jamie brings over 15 years of business operations management and people leadership to her position here at Cheek Dental. Getting to know you personally and treating patients like family is of utmost importance to Jamie!
Kelly
Financial Coordinator
Kelly has been in the dental field for over twenty years. Over a decade of those years have been with Cheek Dental. She enjoys helping our family of patients on a daily basis. Kelly will assist you in maximizing your dental insurance benefits and will file the insurance claims for you.
Kelly moved to Georgia in 2012 from northern New York. She and her husband, Bruce, have two adult children and seven grandchildren. Kelly is an amazing scrapbooker and has done many beautiful projects for her friends and family.
Shayna
Dental Hygienist
Shayna is an Atlanta native and was born and raised in Roswell. She knew by her senior year of high school that she wanted to be a dental hygienist. She began her dental career by becoming a certified dental assistant and then attended Athens Technical College where she received her degree in dental hygiene. Upon graduation, Shayna received the community service award for volunteering her time by giving back to those who don’t have access to dental care.
Shayna’s interests in health and wellness go beyond dentistry. She is an active member at her gym and enjoys all kinds of fitness activities. Shayna values spending quality time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants, traveling, singing and attending church events. She is a dedicated dog mom to her beloved vizsla, Sienna, and spends most weekends giving her the best life possible.
Tracy
Dental Hygienist
Tracy is one of our amazing dental hygienists. With 20 years of dental hygiene experience, she is highly skilled. Truly a people person, Tracy has a sweet personality and easily connects with all patients. Her infectious laugh can be heard throughout the office!
Tracy has 3 children and a dog named Roscoe. When she is not in the office Tracy enjoys cycling and watching her children play
sports.
Maricka
Dental Assistant
Maricka began her medical career in the veterinary field where she worked for over twelve years before transitioning to
dentistry.
She is the mother of three children, two of whom are twins but born on separate days and years— 12/31/16 and 1/1/17! In her spare time, Maricka loves to cook and enjoys poolside activities. She also enjoys making frequent trips back to her hometown of Tallahassee to visit friends and enjoy the beautiful sunny weather.
LaMuir
Dental Assistant
LaMuir’s love of dentistry began as a teenager as she observed her aunts who were enjoying their careers in the dental field. After receiving dental assistant training through the American Red Cross in Yokosuka, Japan, LaMuir began working in dental specialty offices including endodontics, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Blessed with QUADRUPLETS, LaMuir stayed home for several years to care for her children. These experiences led her to seek out a position here at Cheek Dental where she could utilize her skills and her passion for cosmetic dentistry with a gentle touch.
Sandra
Treatment Coordinator
Sandra has been in dentistry for over 20 years. Her career began as a chairside assistant. Then, she served as an office manager. Now we are blessed to have her as our treatment coordinator.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time cooking, reading, and creating beautiful, colorful art pages. Sandra has two grown children and one grandson. Sandra and her husband reside in Holly Springs with their dogs, Mason & Delilah.
Ashley
Dental Assistant
Ashley has always loved interacting with patients. Before making the leap to a dental career, she spent a few years in the chiropractic field. “I have learned so much since joining Cheek Dental,” Ashley said. “and I really enjoy sharing everything I have learned with my patients!”
When Ashley is not caring for patients, she loves to spend time with her dachshund, Slinky. She also enjoys spending her days on the water kayaking and fishing, as well as traveling to new places.
