Our team is the heart of Cheek Dental. We are a group of dedicated, highly trained professionals who believe exceptional care starts with genuine connection.
Each member of our team plays an important role in creating a calm, supportive environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and confident in their care. We work closely together, communicate openly, and support one another—because collaboration behind the scenes leads to better experiences in the chair.
Patients often tell us they feel the difference from their very first visit. That difference comes from a team that truly enjoys caring for people and takes pride in doing things the right way.

Alyssa is a Georgia native who spent five years in Florida for college and work before returning home in 2021. While Florida sparked her interest in marine life, most of her seven-year dolphin training career took place after she moved back to Georgia. Her passion for medicine and patient care eventually led her to transition into dentistry, where she brings strong communication skills, patience, and a calming presence to every appointment. On her days off, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her dog Leila, traveling the world, and being anywhere near the beach or water. She’s grateful to continue growing her dental career in the state she’s always called home.
Maricka began her medical career in the veterinary field where she worked for over twelve years before transitioning to dentistry. She is the mother of three children, two of whom are twins but born on separate days and years— 12/31/16 and 1/1/17! In her spare time, Maricka loves to cook and enjoys poolside activities. She also enjoys making frequent trips back to her hometown of Tallahassee to visit friends and enjoy the beautiful sunny weather.
